How to Use FaithTag

Submitting a Story

Submitting a story is a simple three step process.

Step 1: Enter URL
Enter the URL of the aritcle or website you want to submit to FaithTag. You can either type in the URL or copy and paste it. Be sure the full and correct URL are entered or else the story will not submit correctly.

Step 2: Enter Story Info
FaithTag will attempt to pull the title, summary, and trackback information automatically. However, this does not always work, depending on how the submitted website is setup. In this step, make sure the title, description, and summary are correct. Also, choose the most appopriate category from the pulldown menu. The trackback is an optional section for those submitting blog articles. Basically, if submitted site is a blog article, this will place a comment and link on the blog from FaithTag letting visitors know it was publicized here.

Step 3: Preview & Verify Submission
This step shows you a preview of your submission. If anything is incorrect, click "Modify" and make any desired changes. If the information looks correct, the click "Submit story".

Voting/Tagging

To vote (or tag) on a story, click the "Tag It" next to the story. You can only tag a story one time. If you click on the number of tags, you will see that story's summary, comments, and taggers. However, this does not constitute a vote. Clicking on the title of the story takes you to the submitted article.

Links Beneath the Story

Save - This saves the story as a favorite so you can review it later. To view your saved stories, click on "Profile" at the top, then click "Saved" to view all saved stories. Once a story is saved, this changes to "Remove." To remove a story from your saved list, click "Remove."

Tell a friend - This opens a form that allows you to share the submission with up to three people.
