FaithTag helps Christians promote their favorite articles, faith
FORT WORTH, TX - August 13, 2007 - Christians can share and vote for their favorite articles with FaithTag (www.faithtag.com), a new community website developed by Pastor John Rothra. Where the early church Apostles used parchment and sailboats to share information modern Christians can share the good news of Jesus around the world with just a few clicks.
The Internet has tens of thousands of overlooked Christian blogs and websites. Those unknown websites may provide wonderful insight and sound teaching and inspire belief while promoting the love of God through Christ. However, if people do not know about them, their contributions are lost. FaithTag gets these sites noticed, read, and shared with the world.
FaithTag is like other popular social sites like Digg, del.icio.us and Reddit where members vote and comment on articles. But where most social sites focus on technology and science, FaithTag concentrates on religion and faith.
According to Rothra, "FaithTag is a ministry that gives Christians a place to share, promote, and discover articles not easily found otherwise. After hearing so many Christians express a desire for a social bookmarking site of their own, I developed FaithTag to meet that need."
FaithTag is about more than just promoting websites and blogs. It is a place for Christians to socialize with each other. Members can comment on posts, debate issues, and meet others who share the same beliefs in Christ, God, and Scripture. Users can email news they find on FaithTag to their friends and family or save stories for later review.
Launched March of 2007, FaithTag has been through several enhancements to meet the needs of its members. As the site grows, Rothra anticipates adding more features to enhance the user's experience. Free membership is required to submit and vote for articles.
